People normally start translation with Workbench and then with profile.
When you are doing mapping on Workbench you need to give attachment, input, output and models name manually.
When you are running through profile then the profile will tell the control server which map to pickup by giving the cross reference value.
More elaborately, this can be done like this. When you are creating the Profile (flat to flat translation)you will have the two levels. one is "EAI Fist Level" and "EAI Second Level".
In EAI First level you will give the company information like company name and your id and tranding partner id.
Next step is second level "EAI Second Level". Here you will give the attachment name and cross reference and NetworkID.
Attachment name: Give the attachment name for selection of the map. Cross Reference: When you have not given the input file as hardcoded value either in the batch file or attachment then this cross reference value is useful. I will create one more blog on this very soon.
NetworkID: With this ID output file will be generated.
